Hi! I'm Kendall, and I founded Jiu Jitsu Accelerator in March 2021. I know how it feels to want to be the best athlete you can be. I was a struggling blue belt with no real personal “coach,” inconsistent tournament results, no roadmap or plan on how to get better, and no clarity.

I worked really hard, I won some tournaments, and I knew I was willing to do what it took, but I quickly learned a hard lesson: you can have all the desire & resilience in the world… but unless you know how to create a CLEAR PATH to Gold Medal, Champion Level Performance, it’s almost possible to reach the top of the podium, or reach your highest potential as an athlete (yes, if you train Jiu Jitsu, you are an athlete!). 

So I set off on a mission to learn everything I could about Athletic Success in an effort to bring myself from inconsistent results and zero clarity to razor-sharp progress and consistent World Titles.

In my search to master everything about Athletic Success, I was able to become a 7x World Champion (at every belt) - all without hiring a team of outside coaches or moving to a “famous” academy... and everyone started asking how they could replicate the same results in THEIR career too.

I decided to put together a program to teach my signature methodology that has allowed me to win the biggest tournaments in the world — all because I know what to do and when to do it. That is how "Jiu Jitsu Accelerator" was born!

PRE-FRAMING

Envisioning Your Future

 

In Week 1, we break down the process of defining what your actual goals are. Do you want to be a world champ? Do you want to start submitting that new purple belt? How much time per week do you want to spend training? We will create a detailed vision of what it means for YOU to live the “champion lifestyle” of a “BJJ athlete." This teaches us, and you, how to approach the 4 Pillars of JJA.

PILLAR 1

Mindset & Sports Psychology

 

You will learn the mindset tools and sport psych needed to excel as athletes in competition and in our daily lives. Not only will you learn and practice all of these, but we will carefully cover how to turn these practices into real, lasting habits. You will re-wire your brain to think like a champion - and most importantly, to ACT like one too. 

PILLAR 2

Jiu-Jitsu Technique

 

You will understand how to build a personal roadmap for your JJ success (ahead of time!). You will learn how to be decisive about what to work on, how to work on it, how to learn the nuances of it, and how to implement it in training. You will feel committed to one thing at a time and create compounding building blocks with your techniques.

PILLAR 3

Strength & Conditioning for Jiu-Jitsu 

 

You will learn what a JJ athlete needs (and should leave out) in his or her S&C plan. You will discover how to create a lifting program for yourself in a way that promotes consistency and prepares you for your matches. Not only will you feel stronger and faster, but you will also understand how to avoid injuries and keep the body safe.

PlLLAR 4

Nutrition for Jiu-Jitsu Athletes

 

You will develop an enjoyable plan of eating that fuels your needs and feels sustainable. You will know what to add, what to subtract, what to avoid, how to stay consistent, and how to audit diet for weight-class situations with competition if necessary. We maintain a focus and priority on health and performance over aesthetics.
